The assessment process was led directly by ACQUIN’s international team of assessors under the coordination of Kristina and involved a number of prominent assessors, including Prof. Tasic, Prof. Albanese, Prof. Nino Javakhishvili, and student representative Luca Gehrig.

On-Time Opening and Campus Facility Tour

The agenda for the first day, October 29, 2026, officially began with a packed program from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. WIB. Attended by members of the academic community wearing their university robes, the opening ceremony featured the singing of “Indonesia Raya” and the “Tarumanagara March,” the screening of a video profiling Untar, and remarks by the Untar Rector and an ACQUIN representative.

Following the opening ceremony, the assessment team, accompanied by faculty leaders, took a campus tour to inspect the academic support infrastructure, ranging from Building M, the School of Law, the Main Building, and sports facilities, to the highlight of the visit at the School of Psychology (Building R, 2nd and 3rd floors).

In-Depth Sessions: Governance, Curriculum, and Human Resources Well-Being

On the second day, October 30, 2026, the program focused on panel discussions (Round 2 and Breakout Rooms) that evaluated various strategic aspects.

Academic Integrity & AI: In response to student questions regarding the prevention of plagiarism using artificial intelligence (AI), the university reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing the Integrity Pact and utilizing objective AI detection tools.

Welfare and Human Resources

The assessors commended the transparency of employee benefits through the LINTAR digital platform, which includes holiday bonuses (THR), extended leave for employees with 8 years of service, and various other leave entitlements. In addition, the institution’s support for faculty members pursuing doctoral degrees (including full scholarships from the Tarumanagara Foundation) was rated as excellent.

Teaching and Learning Load: The workload for faculty members is recorded at 12 to 16 SKS per semester, covering the Three Pillars of Higher Education. Courses are taught in Indonesian and supplemented with references from international journals in English.

Appreciation and Recommendations from the Assessors at the Closing Session

The series of site visits officially concluded on Friday (Oct. 30) from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. WIB. During the final feedback session, the assessment team noted that Untar’s Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Psychology are highly student-centered and aligned with the needs of the Indonesian job market.

Some of the key strengths highlighted include excellent laboratory facilities, a structured internship program, the high dedication of the teaching staff, and a significant increase in the number of faculty members holding doctoral degrees. As steps for future development, the assessors provided a number of strategic recommendations, including strengthening support for internationalization (student and faculty exchanges), publishing program information and quality procedures in English, and formalizing industry partnerships through memoranda of understanding (MoUs).

Through this ACQUIN evaluation, the Untar School of Psychology is optimistic that it can continue to improve the quality of its management of the three pillars of higher education in order to produce psychology graduates who meet international standards.
